O’Neils Sports Lounge Rules

 

O’Neils is operated by O’Neils Sports Lounge Limited(the Proprietors)

 

 

The Objectives of O’Neils are:-

 

To provide Patrons with opportunities for social, recreational and indoor sporting facilities including the provision of food and refreshments;

 

 

Constitution

 

O’Neils is owned by the Proprietors. All powers of the Proprietors in these Rules may be exercised by the Directors of O’Neils Sports Lounge Limited and by Management of O’Neils.

The Proprietors shall be the sole authority for interpreting the rules of O’Neils premises and settling any disputes relating to the affairs of O’Neils. The conduct of Patrons and any questions arising as to the rights or powers or duties of the Proprietors in relation to O’Neils shall be solely determined by the Proprietors.

Membership is via application only; there will be a minimum of 48hrs, from time of application presented to the Management, until applicant is notified of approval / refusal of membership.

Members will be required to carry their membership tag to enable entry into O’Neils.

Members can only sign in a maximum of two guests at any time.

Players representing other venues will be allowed into O’Neils Sports Lounge to play league, interleague and county matches.

 

 

Officers and Management

 

Any one or more members of Management may review membership applications and suspensions.

The Directors may from time to time repeal or amend these Rules as they see fit for the well being of O’Neils and its Patrons. Any Rules or Regulations so decided shall be binding on the Patrons.

 

 

General Rules

 

O’Neils will open during the hours permitted by the terms of our Premises Licence. Intoxicating liquor may only be supplied in O’Neils during the hours permitted by the Premises Licence and whilst O’Neils is open and prepared to receive Patrons.

Patrons must be at least 18 years of age or over to enter the premises, with the exception of 9am – 11am Saturday and Sunday when Junior pool coaching may be available.

Any Patron who appears to look under 21 will need to prove they are 18 or over by providing photographic identification.

The Proprietors reserves the right to shut off any portion of O’Neils premises at any time to exclude Patrons there from.

The Proprietors will prevent access to O’Neils to anyone acting in a disorderly manner or anyone who in its judgement is intoxicated.

Patrons are prohibited from bringing alcohol onto the premises and may be refused entry if found in possession of alcoholic beverage.

Patrons whose personal attire is unacceptable to Management may be refused entry. Our dress code is smart casual

The Proprietors reserves the right to request any Patron who is believed to be intoxicated to leave the premises.

In the interests of safety of all Patrons and Staff, Patrons must be prepared to offer any hand luggage, bags, carriers or the like for inspection by the Proprietors staff appointed to that duty. The Proprietors and Management reserve the absolute right to refuse permission to carry any articles that appointed staff consider being inappropriate for passage into O’Neils.

All property whatsoever from time to time brought into O’Neils by any Patron shall be at the sole risk of the person bringing such property onto the premises and neither the Proprietors nor any employee of the Proprietors shall be liable for any loss or damage to any such article, however occasioned.

No credit shall be given to any persons.

Within the terms of the Data Protection Act, for reasons of safety and crime prevention sound and images are continually monitored and recorded throughout O’Neils.

In addition the Proprietors will use information for administration, customer services, marketing and carrying out appropriate security or financial checks. Marketing may contact Members by mail, e-mail, phone or text messaging service about our services or promotions, which may be of interest to Members unless the Member has specifically indicated no correspondence in their original application.

Cameras or any other recording device may not be used in O’Neils without the approval of the Management.

It is the Proprietors policy not to discriminate, and not to knowingly permit others to discriminate, against staff or Patrons on the grounds of sex, race, disability, sexual orientation and religious beliefs. Management has an absolute discretion to suspend or terminate the Membership of any Patron found to be in breach of this policy.

The Proprietors are committed to ensuring the health and safety of its Staff, Patrons on these premises, so far as is reasonable and practicable, and the Proprietors will comply with all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice. O’Neils Staff and Patrons have a responsibility to act in a responsible manner to ensure their own health and safety and that of others in O’Neils.

The Proprietors are committed to maintaining a safe environment in which Patrons may enjoy the facilities provided. The manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession or use of drugs or controlled substances is prohibited on the premises and offenders membership will be revoked. The Proprietors will also cooperate with the police in such matters.

The Proprietors will not tolerate disruptive behaviour. Behaviour will be deemed ‘disruptive’ if O’Neils property is intentionally damaged, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words or behaviour are used towards its Patrons or O’Neils Employees. The Proprietors has an absolute discretion to suspend or terminate the membership or refuse entry.

The Proprietors has a strict policy against discrimination and will not knowingly permit others to discriminate against any Patron or Staff member on the grounds of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation or religious belief. The Proprietors will not tolerate any conduct which may potentially constitute harassment or discrimination against any Patron or Staff member.

The Proprietors may initiate and will fully support a criminal investigation following an act of violence against any of its Patrons or its Employees.

The Proprietors will share information about any criminal act committed in O’Neils by Patrons with the Authorities.

The Proprietors will remove and exclude from the premises any person suspected or found to have committed a criminal act. Under these circumstances any attempt to enter the premises will render the excluded person liable to civil action and in accordance with which the Proprietors will seek to recover its costs of such action. The Proprietors will also pursue criminal prosecution against those who commit offences on its premises.

Smoking is only permitted in the designated area. Any person found to be smoking on the premises, not in the designated area, may be asked to leave.

Complaints  and Disputes

 

Any complaint or dispute should be raised immediately with a member of the Management team.

 

 

Experian Identification Check

 

An electronic identity check may be carried out on customers who are applying for O’Neils membership. Please note that this ID check does NOT leave a credit “footprint” on an applicant’s credit record. The ID check leaves an ID softprint that is only visible to the individual and not to any lenders and therefore does NOT affect an individual’s credit history or the ability to obtain credit. At no point during this search has The Proprietors accessed any credit or financial information on the applicant
